Tall people are faced with many problems and we at Giraffe have provided a solution for at least one of them. Being tall is one thing, and that’s a variable that cannot be changed, but finding clothes that fit is like hitting the jackpot.
Hi, I’m Annley, owner and designer at Giraffe. Standing at 5’10” flat, with no shoes, I have always been the tallest, or at least one of the tallest girls in school. So, I understand the struggle of finding clothes that fit. I’ve had to roll up my sleeves and my pants legs, just to hide the fact that they were too short. However, as I transitioned from a youth to an adult, I realized that I had to embrace my height and wear it as a badge of honor the same way runway models do!
Now finding clothes to go along with my newly found confidence, proved to be difficult. Not a lot of retailers cater to tall people, especially tall women. So after 10+ years of being in the fashion industry I’ve decided to take a leap of faith.
Out of my own frustrations, I birthed Giraffe. Giraffe was created to fill a void in the fashion industry, which is good quality casual wear for TALL people.
